A 10 Year Journey of Hitachi Channel Solutions (Thailand)
- Supporting Financial Digital Transformation in Thailand and ASEAN -

In July 2025, Hitachi Channel Solutions (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (Hitachi Channel Solutions Thailand), the local subsidiary of Hitachi Channel Solutions Corp., celebrated its 10th anniversary. The company was established in July 2015 as Hitachi Terminal Solutions (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and began operations in October of the same year. As a key hub for the Thai and ASEAN markets, Hitachi Channel Solutions Thailand has made significant contributions to the development of financial infrastructure through the provision of ATMs and related services.

History - Growth of the Thailand Business and Strengthening of Service Operations -

Hitachi Channel Solutions delivered CRMs to the Thai market in 2009, becoming the first in ASEAN to achieve cash recycling operations. Since then, the company has worked to promote the adoption of CRMs and has led the market.

Currently, approximately 8,000 of our CRMs are in operation across Thailand, boasting a market share of over 60%.

Establishment of Sales and Service Company in Thailand

In 2015, a sales and service company was established in Thailand to strengthen the local business structure. By reinforcing relationships with local financial institutions, Hitachi Channel Solutions Thailand has been able to accurately identify diverse needs and provide detailed solutions to address challenges. In addition to increasing sales of financial self-service machines such as ATMs, Hitachi Channel Solutions Thailand has actively developed new businesses, including maintenance services to improve equipment operating quality and solutions that support efficient cash management.

Expansion of ATM Managed Services and Maintenance Services

Hitachi Channel Solutions Thailand began providing maintenance services in 2018. An outsourcing contract for ATM operations (ATM Managed Services) was secured from a major state-owned bank in Thailand, and operations were launched in 2020. Services provided include asset ownership of ATMs and 24/7 monitoring on behalf of the bank.

Currently, 27 maintenance service centers have been established across Thailand, providing robust support for stable ATM operations.

Looking Ahead to the Next Decade

Hitachi Channel Solutions Thailand celebrated its 10th anniversary of establishment in July 2025 and its 10th anniversary of operations in October. Moving forward, in addition to further promoting the adoption of CRMs, we will expand our services in the digital payment sector and strengthen our role as a key driver of financial Digital Transformation in Thailand and across ASEAN. Amid rapidly changing business and living environments, we will continue to explore solutions, propose new value, and contribute to the realization of a safe, secure, and comfortable society.
